So, last Saturday night was my Husband and my Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. Since this was planned months ahead of time; we were looking forward to seeing how our first party of this nature turned out.
To go along with my theme for the party; I had a Christmas Tree hair style.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Recap
Not only are Christmas Parties a lot of fun; but they provide a lot of entertainment. Indeed, that was the case at our party.
First and the foremost, the party started with my best friend being the Party’s official bartender. She made Holiday Sangria’s and Proseco drinks. Moreover, she came up with a clever way and poured these drinks into mason jars.
In the same fashion, my Husband and I had a buffet set up and everyone helped themselves to all kinds of delicious food. In the same fashion, my Husband and I had an actual Fashion Show of everyone modelling their Ugly Christmas Sweater.
Meanwhile, everyone voted for their favorites. We selected two winner’s – one girl and one guy. As seen below, Joe in the tall hat won the Male Ugly Christmas Sweater award.
As for the ugliest Christmas Sweater for Women, my best friend, Rose won.
In my opinion, no one actually had on an Ugly Christmas Sweater. Of course, everyone had on really cute Christmas sweaters and dresses.
As for the Men, they were dressed in really cute styles as seen below.
In true Rockette fashion, we Women couldn’t resist coming together to kick up our legs.
As a surprise to my guests, I had a good friend of ours bring his guitar and we all sang Christmas Carols.
As everyone was leaving, I had Ugly Christmas Sweater Party cookies as a party favor. Indeed, these cookies were yummy!
Ugly Christmas Sweater Trend
At any rate, wearing an ugly Christmas Sweater takes you back to the days of visiting older relatives and seeing everyone dressed up in tacky sweaters. As for wearing an Ugly Christmas Sweater, this is a hot trend. All ages are showing up in tacky sweaters and ones they made themselves. This trend continues to gain traction.
