So the final rose episode was Monday night on Arie Luyendyk Jr’s season. When the season started, I wrote a post on Arie Luyendyk Season. And like other seasons; Reality Steve was already posting the winner before the season started.

Although Arie comes across as much more serious than the other Bachelors; it seemed like he was hoping to end his journey for love with a proposal.
However, I’ve found this season a little confusing. For instance, Arie would say one thing, yet do another. When he was on a date with Lauren, he said, “if she didn’t open up, he was going to say good-bye”.
Also, Arie seems to passionately kiss every Woman he is on a date with. So, is he into the kissing or the actual Woman?
Final Rose
Finally last night was the night Bachelor Nation has been waiting for. Since Arie let both Becca and Lauren know he was in love with them; who does he choose?
As reported earlier in the season, Arie proposes to Becca and the show ends with a happy ending. But, are they happy? So, what happened after the final rose?
In my opinion, the camera’s being present as Arie ended his engagement to Becca was done in very poor taste. I don’t think the camera’s needed to be present in this break-up; nor do I think the Bachelor production team should have filmed a private moment.
Since this reminds me of Jason Mesnick’s season; did Arie have a change of heart? Of course, this will have Bachelor nation talking.
After the Final Rose
So, my issue with the way this season ended was if Arie had doubts; why did he propose? So Monday nights show ended with Becca speaking to Chris Harrison for the last five minutes of the show. And part 2 continued last night.
In summary, last night began with several girls from Arie’s season brought on stage. Next was Becca. After she spoke, Arie joined her on stage and I thought Becca asked some good questions.
After Becca exited, Lauren was brought on stage. Of course, there were some tough questions by Chris Harrison and then Arie proposed to Lauren. Since there were already rumors circulating that they were already engaged; I thought this part of the show was not a surprise.
Finally, the new Bachelorette was announced. This was no surprise as Becca came back on stage. Similarly to Rachel’s season, Becca’s season started last night as she met 5 guys who will be vying for a rose when the season begins in May.
Consequently, the second time is usually the charm. Will Becca find true love on her season?
