Best Holiday Gift Wrapping Ideas

If you’re like me, gift wrapping is something you look forward to during the holiday season. Since most people are focused on the gifts, not the gift wrap; I thought today’s post should be about the gift wrap.

Holiday Gift Wrapping Ideas

So, all of your gifts have been bought. First and foremost, look for unique wrapping paper. At the same time, look for unique bows, ribbons and ornaments.

Let’s begin. In the same fashion, show your style by sticking to a color pattern. For example, if you’re using gold and silver bows, try to use wrapping paper with metallic colors to have your package stand out. When you’re wrapping a gift, add your own personal touch.

Whether you make a bow, stencil a design or use fabric to wrap your gift, make it your own. When I’m wrapping a present, I generally use unique ribbons and top the package off with a unique bow and ornament. Hence, I also like to add a fun tag with a personalized note. Of course, there is nothing like writing a personal note.

Other Gift Wrapping Options

For additional ideas, visit my Gift Wrapping Ideas 2016 post. Although this was last year’s post, there are a lot of alternative gift wrapping options.

Still, not interested in trying to wrap your gifts. If you really don’t want to wrap the gifts yourself; check your local mall. Many malls offer gift wrap services that benefit a charity. When you get a gift wrapped at a mall gift wrap station, you’re giving back to a cause that can benefit others. Moreover, these stations are done by individuals who volunteer their time.

In addition, many stores offer boxes, tags and tissue paper with a purchase. Also, many stores have wrapping services available.

Holiday Cards

In essence, there is nothing like receiving a special card or something, someone took the time to create for you. A lot of time and thought goes into a gift. For me, the fun is to give something unique to someone I selected and see a smile on their face when they unwrap their gift.

As always, I welcome your comments.
