Go Faux for Winter

Go Faux for Winter

Go faux for Winter in a fluffy coat or jacket.  More and More Women are turning to faux this season.  Some Women are animal lovers.  With new options available in furs it is turning everyone into loving the luxury of looking chic.

Faux Fur Fashion

Fur has been worn for decades due to climate, fashion, and looking luxurious.  With new technology in faux fur, you can now experience the softness, quality, and warmth as the real thing.   Modern factories have started producing the same quality found in soft teddy bears.  Many fibers are woven mohair which is the natural hair found in animals.  Also, it is acquired using the shearling technique making it animal friendly.  Mohair has been used in abundance in designer fashion houses for years.  Many designers use long hair, curly, and close cropped yarns.

There are Women who care about their style.  Some have ethical issues and won’t touch real fur.  Many condone the use of real fur.  Designers are turning to use faux fur more and more frequently.  In particular, Prada, Stella McCartney, and Dries Van Noten all used fake furs for their Fall and Winter collection.  Many Designers used fun colors with long shaggy fibers for texture. Some Designers used silk fake fur with patterns.

Many don’t wear real fur for their love of animals. Some don’t wear it due to being allergic to animals.  With so many choices available in fake furs, it is no wonder it is gaining popularity.  Fun colors such as turquoise, pink, purple, and green are giving this style some real attitude.

Maybe you noticed the street style with celebrities wearing colorful furs, scarves, and ponchos this season.  This trend is showing no signs of slowing down.   With so many styles available, it is easy to add this to your wardrobe.  Featured below are fun colors and styles to consider.  In addition, I am a fan of a great faux fur scarf to a solid wool coat.
