Jo Malone Star Magnolia Cologne

Jo Malone Star Magnolia is the latest fragrance introduced recently. In the first place, this is a new fragrance that is a limited edition. With Mothers Day this Sunday, this may be an ideal Mothers Day gift.

Star Magnolia was created by Master Perfumer, Anne Flipo. When Anne is creating a fragrance, she spends at a minimum of 9 months in getting the smell right.

When you think of Spring’s white blossoms, Star Magnolia is in full bloom. In the same way, the notes include ginger, lemon, magnolia leaves, orange blossom, sandalwood and star magnolia. Also, base notes are amber and cedar and middle notes of Neroli.

When the Manger at my local Nordstrom store contacted me on this fragrance, I was anxious to sample. Because I’m a fan of the scent of blossoms, this scent is light, fresh and has a cool touch hinting of citrus.

Usually when I purchase Jo Malone cologne, the bottles are classic. Star Magnolia is a soft white with white floral petals. Of course, this fragrance is simple, light and I will be using this often in the upcoming Summer months.

If you’re a fan of Star Magnolia trees, you will love this fragrance. Moreover, the tree’s fragrance smells from a few steps away.
