Since we had a lot of rain and flooding recently; don’t fret. Now, is the perfect opportunity to still grow your own tomatoes. Although you may think you’re planting late; there is still time to enjoy freshly planted tomatoes.
With the warm sun, you know the Summer season is in full swing when you bite into a juicy ripe tomato.
Since it is peak season; there are an abundance of high quality tomatoes available. So, if you’re wondering how to find the best tomatoes; there are a few things you should look for.

- Best in a deep red
- A pale tomato could be lacking in flavor
- If you see a dimple, skip the tomato.

In addition, you can always try the squeeze test. Tip of the day – a tip is a good tomato should feel firm. If it is easily squeezable, it may not be as fresh.
