Husband Mr. Right

My Husband is Mr. Right

My Husband is Mr. Right. Joe and I have been married for 11 years and I know I’m a lucky woman to have the perfect partner in life. Love is about finding the right person and creating a beautiful relationship for eternity. My love affair with Joe began several months after dating. Though Joe and I started our relationship slowly; we built it on friendship, trust, and love.

Joe’s sense of humor

I ended a relationship a month before meeting Joe.  And, my first impression was that this wasn’t a love connection; but boy was I wrong.  So, our dates were simple but filled with laughter. What I noticed early on in Joe was his sense of humor. Moreover, he was always finding a comical side in everything. Additionally, I remember early on starting to like him more and more each time I saw him. Joe’s ability to see the amusing side of a situation was exactly what I need for my Type A personality.

Mr. Fix it

I always referred to Joe as my Mr. Fix It. As a Home Owner; I was always having small things that need carpentry and I remember one night Joe came over to pick me up and arrived a little bit early to help me and he was able to fix everything in under 30 minutes. Indeed, my Mr. Fix it saves us a lot of money because he is able to fix and repair almost anything.

Opposites Attract

When you are choosing a partner; it is important to think outside the box. I’m happy that I did and found Mr. Right in Joe.  At first, Joe didn’t have an interest in expensive restaurants or an interest in clothing as I do. Of course, one of my passions has always been shoes and fashion. Joe was always dressed well, but as the years progressed; he has an appreciation for better clothing. Indeed, my fashion sense has played a big part!

Joe and I both enjoy cooking and each of us has our specialties. Of course, going out to dinner has become an adventure. We are always trying new and trendy restaurants and have our favorites that we go to regularly in between.

Even though Joe was born in another country; he was never on an airplane much. So, one of my concerns early on is I love visiting new states, islands, and countries and I’m always looking for our next destination. With all the terrorism in airports, cities, and countries I’ve become much more conservative and our roles have reversed. So, I remember landing in Heathrow Airport on a layover and being apprehensive –  Joe was much calmer and cooler than I.  In short, my husband has become quite the traveler over the years since we married.

My Husband of 11 Years

As Joe and I celebrate our 11 year Wedding Anniversary, I am happy Joe is my Husband Mr. Right. Moreover, Joe has made me laugh, hugged me when I have cried, watched me succeed, seen me fall and he has kept me strong throughout this journey.

My Husband

In summary, I am a proud wife of my wonderful husband Joe and feel lucky to have him in my life. Indeed, I’m lucky that I found my best friend and married him
