Summer Season Begins Today

So, today, I’m going to share some of my favorite things to do with you.

When it comes to being out in the sun; it is important you protect your skin from the harmful UVA/UVB rays. At the same time, even on a cloudy day; it is still important to wear sunscreen to protect your skin. To read more, be sure to check out my Best Summer Skin Protection Secrets post.

Fun Summer Activities

Since I’m a die hard Boston Red Sox fan, I will definitely be attending some home games. Also, I’m a fan of traveling. And, this season, my husband and I are vacationing in the Azores.

Are you looking for a new book boyfriend? Be sure to visit my Best Summertime Book Boyfriend post for some suggestions. For any adult, lay on a raft, beach chair, or hammock and read a great book.

In my opinion, I think a gravity chair is a “Must” for the warmer weather. Furthermore, I love reading on my gravity chair in my enclosed screened porch. You can use these chairs anywhere you want. Moreover, these chairs have a cup holder and tray which makes it ideal to place your beverage and cell phone or book.

First, one of the most important things you need to do this season is making time for some fun activities. At the end of the work week, power down. Head to the beach. Attend a Summer concert. Plan a cookout. Light a bonfire and toast marshmallows.

So, if you’re staying local this Summer, check out a place you have never been to before. If you know your city or town inside out, take a road trip. Another fun idea is to think outside of the box. For example, participate in a class. Or, try a water sport.

Whether you’re a kid or an adult, there are plenty of fun things to do. For kids, head to the beach, participate in a sports activity or you may be going to day or overnight camp. If you have a big family, plan a day at an amusement park or organize a softball or volleyball game.

In essence, you don’t have to have anything specific planned.

Finally, plan some quality time to relax.

As always, I welcome your comments on what you will be doing this Summer season.
