Sustainable fashion is something that you may not think about when it comes to clothing. But, now it is becoming more relevant. When you think of sustainability; how was the clothing you’re wearing produced? Was it produced in a workable environment?

Indeed, the idea of having a wardrobe of eco and sustainable styles may cause you to pause. However, it shouldn’t. With environmental topics under a microscope; it has never been more relevant to dress green.

Whenever you buy something, you should first decide if you’re really going to wear it. How many times do you end up buying something that stays in your closet with the tags on? Personally, I have done this many times.

First and foremost, if it is something that you’re going to wear all the time, than buy it. But if it is an item that you’re only going to wear once or twice; try to buy something that is inexpensive. Of course, the key is to spend more money on pieces you will wear many times and items that aren’t a fad. To read more about fashion trends, be sure to visit my Life Cycle of Fashion Trends post.
