Of course, there is nothing prettier than a Winter Wonderland. However, I would prefer to keep the messy weather outside. Although this party was planned months ago; it was nice to see weather wasn’t an issue, especially after a snowstorm earlier in the week.
Winter Wonderland
When you think of a Winter Wonderland, what comes to mind? Probably, snow, ice, and the holiday season. Well, it may be cold and snowy outside; however this is a great time to get together to celebrate the festive season.
With holiday gatherings, people rushing around doing their shopping; what can be better than planning a holiday gathering?

Be sure to check-out my Ugly Christmas Party Recap post. So, I don’t know about you; but personally I was tired of the Ugly Christmas Sweater theme. With that being said, time to change up the theme. Invitations went out early and the plans were made for a cozy festive party.
Since there was already snow outside; what a great backdrop this made.
To go along with my party theme; I had my hair done in a holiday bow. Also, tinsel was added to my hair for a “Festive Air”.
Of course, holiday parties are a great way to usher in the season. Not only do they provide a lot of fun; but also a lot of entertainment.
Luckily, my best friend, Rose started the night off as my official bartender. Rose made pear martini’s and white chocolate martini’s. At the same time, my husband and I set up a buffet so everyone could help themselves to all kinds of great food.
As my guests arrived, I gave out game cards. Everyone received a card to answer questions and the winner received a goody bag. Since there was a three way tie, three lucky winners received a prize.
After everyone ate, we had a Yankee Swap. Usually, there is a lot of switching gifts; however everyone seemed really happy with what they received.
As a surprise to my guests, I had our good friend Joe bring his guitar and we all sang Christmas Carols and everyone received s snowflake soap party favor.
