Back on Instagram

So, I am back on Instagram. Since I have had ups and downs with social media; hopefully, the 3rd time is the charm.

Back in the days when I had my old company, LRB & Associates; I had a fairly large following. When I closed my sales office and transitioned my site to share my stories and interests; that’s where the hard work started. Due to many fake followers; I decided to remove this account and take a break from this social media platform, and focus on other channels.

Recently, I decided it’s time to start fresh.

Instagram Deleted my Account

After about a month or so, I started to build some really good followers in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle space.

But… Instagram deleted my account.

When I looked into this, Facebook wrote me back they could help me. At the same time, they requested a clear photo image of me holding up a number they provided to me. Hence, I did as they requested and never heard anything further.

In fact, shortly after that, they sent me the same type of request.

Moreover, I think the reason my account was closed, was, I used several different laptops as well as both my Assistant and Digital Marketing Agency accessed my page from different devices.

However, I have since learned the reason it was closed was that it was inadvertently disabled due to a system automation Facebook/Instagram has in place to increase security to their platform. Luckily, the person I spoke to was able to request a manual review on my behalf; and their Internal Team reinstated my Instagram Account informing me it complies with their policy.

So, my fingers are crossed that it doesn’t get removed again; as this took almost 6 months to reinstate.

My Goals for my Instagram Account

So, now that my Account is back up; I’m starting from scratch.

To increase Followers
Increasing Engagement
Increase Likes
Driving traffic to my Website
Establishing a strong presence on my page
