So, every year, the goal is to create a theme to raise awareness. Moreover, this year’s theme is to promote balance in our lives to create a healthier self image, as well as community.

When you think of what is going on around us; it is important to have a balance for gender equality. At the same time, this message is to continue from the progress made last year. To read more about last year’s message; check out my International Women’s Day #PressForProgress post.

Due to MeToo and Time’s Up, this year’s message of #BalanceforBetter is especially important for gender equality. Since we are seeing steps made to make the world a better for Women; there is still much more to do.

So, are you ready to make a difference? To read more, be sure to join International Women’s Day.

#BalanceforBetter isn’t just about Women. Ultimately, this is an issue for all businesses and communities. At the same time, gender equality is an important issue. Whether you were born as a male or female; gender equality enables you fair treatment.

In every part of the world; there needs to be opportunities, not based on gender. When there is improvement in this area; it will create more opportunities for a better economic outcome for everyone.
