Boston Dine Out is held over the course of two weeks which the first one is on March 6, and on March 11. The second week is March 13th – March 18th.
Dine Out is brought to us by the Greater Boston Convention and Visitor Bureau and American Express twice a year.
One of the things I look forward to about Dine Out is getting to visit some new restaurants and my favorites at a price fixe menu. The restaurants who participate in Dine Out provide menu’s for lunch or dinner, or perhaps both. The Restaurant’s Chef designs a menu for this event at a fixed price. Many of the restaurants offer unique samplings of their tried and true favorites and many experiments with different offerings.
Restaurants that participate in Boston Dine Out are in the Boston and Cambridge area as well as North, South, and West of the City.
Menu Prices
Prices vary by restaurant. Lunch is usually $15.00, $20.00 or $25.00 and Dinner is usually $28.00, $33.00 and $38.00. The variations and offerings for lunch and dinner are in regards to the number of courses you choose. Of course, drinks, taxes, and gratuities are excluded from the price fixe menu.
Reservations
Also, it is important to make reservations. Due to the popularity of this event, many restaurants fill up quickly. Accordingly, I have already made reservations at a few restaurants. Of course, I made reservations at one of my favorite restaurants – L’Andana. I will also be trying a few different restaurants during restaurant week for both lunch and dinner.
