Does Peter Weber Get Engaged
With the coronavirus being the top story in the news; how the season ended has also been a big story. Since Madison Prewett left before the final rose; Chris Harrison drops a bomb and lets Peter know that Hannah-Ann Sluss was planning on leaving. So, if Hannah-Ann was planning to leave; why did Peter propose when he still had feelings for Madison? Of course, this is the big question.
In fact, Peter came across early on as someone who has a tough time making decisions. For instance, Hannah-Ann told Peter early on that she felt bullied by Victoria and it seemed like early on; Victoria wouldn’t last. However, she made it to the final four.
Also, he was indecisive with eliminating Alayah and than she ended up returning. And, he kept her until other Bachelorettes let him know how disappointed they were. After the Final Rose
With his inability to make a firm decision; there really wasn’t a surprise he ended his relationship with Hannah and pursues Madison. However, my question was why did he propose?
Also, I was happy Hannah-Ann told him something similar that Becca told Arie – “he took away her first proposal”. Hannah’s final words to Peter were “he needed to figure out what he wants before committing to any woman”.
When Hannah exits the stage; Chris Harrison shows everyone his visit to Alabama to see Madison. Next, Madison heads to California and flashforward – she is brought on stage.
Although there has been a lot of chatter this season; I didn’t think the ending was what Bachelor Nation thought. So, Peter and Madison are going to date and figure things out. Will they succeed? Time will tell.
Next, Clare Crawley was announced as ABC’s newest Bachelorette; it was nice to see someone who is going to be 39 when her journey for love begins. It will be someone who is more mature and has much more life experience, rather than the average age being in the mid-’20s.
In summary, Clare has a lot of experience with the Bachelor franchise; so it will be nice to see if she finds her person.
