Move over – Tupperware – there is a new kid on the block.  So, attending a Home Sales Party has gotten hipper, trendier and more Fashionable. So, prior to the long holiday weekend, I ran a Home Fashion Sales Party at my Sister’s House on a weeknight North of Boston.  About a dozen women aged 30’s, 40’s and 50’s with wine glasses in their hand swarmed around the living room. Indeed, Women were excited to check out the tables and try on novelty knits.

The value of these Home Sales Parties is that shopping comes to you.  It is a great way for a group of women to get together.  Women mingle, browse, have appetizers and have drinks at someone’s home in a relaxed kick back environment.  Shopping is a chore for many.  With the addition of a social element and a few drinks –  it adds an appeal to many giving you the chance to try on things in a non-mall setting.  Without the pressure of a Sales Person hovering near by is much more relaxing.

Of course, you can try on the styles, walk around and linger. To sum up, it gives you the chance to connect with other women on styles, trends and conversation before making a purchase. Also, a lot of women are busy with their careers, parenting, etc., They simply don’t have the luxury or time to drive around store-to-store or a mall to shop.

I feel my bringing the Boutique right to someone’s Home is a convenient and fun way to shop.  It is a new experience with a brand and a collection that isn’t found at the Mall and gives someone the opportunity to find something that isn’t mass produced.  If you love fashion, crave something new, want to mingle and bring the clothes to you in an informal setting than consider having a Home Sales Party while having fun with other women.
