Home Sweater Party!

Sweater rage this season as the temperatures cool down.  Furthermore, last week, I ran a Home Fashion Sweater Party at my Friend’s House on a weeknight North of Boston.

Also, Women aged 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s with wine glasses in hand swarmed around the living room.  They visited the various tables and tried on the various novelty knits.

As I continue to run these Sweater Parties, I’m finding more and more Women love a night out to hang out with their friends.  They enjoy meeting new people, eating, drinking, and trying on clothes in the comfort of someone’s home.  They are preferring this instead of running around store-to-store shopping.

The value of these Home Shopping Parties is the shopping comes to you.  It’s a great way for a group of women to get together, mingle, browse, have appetizers and drinks in someone’s home in a relaxed kick back environment.

Shopping is a chore for many.  In addition, with the social element, a few drinks, it adds an appeal to many.  Hence giving you the chance to try on things in a non-mall setting or without the pressure of a Sales Person hovering nearby.  This try-on, walk around and linger gives you the chance to connect with other women on styles, trends and conversations before making a purchase.

A lot of women are busy with their careers, parenting, etc.,  They simply don’t have the luxury or time to drive around store-to-store or mall to shop.  In essence, bringing the Boutique right to someone’s home is a convenient and fun way to shop.
