Look like Barbie

Look like Barbie by feeling beautiful, refined, and fun. So, Barbie was originally created back in March 1959. Ruth Handler originally created Barbie. During a trip to Germany with her family, Ruth came across a doll,  Bild Lilli that she purchased. And, the rest is history.

So, this iconic doll was inspired by the Adult doll, Lilli Since, it reminded her of her daughter Barbara who played with paper dolls and gave them adult roles; Ruth suggested this doll to her Husband Elliot who was a co-founder of Mattel. So, the doll was reworked and given the name Barbie named after her daughter, Barbara. The doll’s debut was on March 9, 1959; where she was introduced in either a blonde or a brunette version.
