Skirt styles are in abundance this season. I have a lot of great fashion and style suggestions. Skirts are something that everyone wears year around.
In the Fall and Winter seasons, Women tend to wear either a skirt paired with a blazer or long flowy skirts with chunky sweaters. In the Spring and Summer seasons, Women tend to wear flowy and shorter skirts or a maxi skirt with a crop top. There are so many options.
With the Spring season beginning next month I loved the floral skirt featured above. Florals are showing up all over the runways in the fashion arena. A Floral Skirt paired with a t-shirt or a solid sweater or matching it with a polka dot shirt gives many options. Be bold and add a striped t-shirt with a floral skirt and I’m sure you will get lots of attention. Adding a floral skirt to your wardrobe gives you options for both casual and formal events. See my print mixing blog on suggestions. The floral skirt above can be found on Amazon.

One of my personal favorite skirt styles that I cannot live without is a denim skirt. I own several styles. My denim mini skirt I cannot live without in the summer months. I often dress this up with a beaded tunic and high heeled sandals for a night out. For a dressed down look I pair my denim mini skirt with a pair of flat gladiator sandals and a t-shirt. I own a dark denim pencil skirt that I wear often for business casual. I pair my skirt with a button-down shirt and a pair of pumps.
Skirt Styles
A skirt style that is versatile and should be a wardrobe staple is a pencil skirt. The long slim skirt is an update for every woman. In fact, it can be worn year round. Wear a pencil skirt tucking a t-shirt into the waistband. This will accent your waistline and you may also want to accessorize it with a wide belt. In the colder weather add an oversize sweater or tunic and a pair of boots. Additionally, if your trying to look trendier consider adding a pair of booties to give this a hipper vibe.
With so many skirt styles to choose from it’s hard not to fall in love with a skirt. Do you wear skirts? What are some of your favorite skirt styles? Will you be purchasing any new skirts for your wardrobe?
