So, last Tuesday, April 24, Married at First Sight Boston concluded. This season’s experts came back to Boston for the reunion show to see how the couples were doing. To read more about this season, be sure to visit my Married at First Sight Boston post.
Married at First Sight Boston Decision Day
Now that the eight week experiment has come to an end, it was time for the couples to decide whether they wanted to stay married or get a divorce. Consequently, Jonathan Francetic and Molly Duff made the decision to not stay together before decision day. Although the show tries to keep you guessing, their relationship seemed to be off right from the beginning.
In my opinion, Molly came across as very immature and although she said she wanted to be married, it didn’t come across as sincere as the other gals on the show. Another issue I had with Molly is she mentioned she wasn’t attracted to Jon throughout their journey; however personally, Molly had bad acne and Jonathan came across not only attractive, but comfortable in his own skin. Ultimately, Jon should be happy that he dodged a bullet.
Next, Jaclyn Schwarzberg and Ryan Buckley decided to stay married to each other. Although this couple seemed to have highs and lows throughout the experiment; they both came across as two people willing to commit to their marriage.
Finally, Shawniece Jackson and Jephte Pierre decided to stay married. At any rate, I saw the most natural progression in this couples relationship from the beginning to the end of the experiment. I enjoyed seeing the unedited show before the episode; and Jephte and Shawniece came across as two mature individuals. Also, they both seemed to know exactly what they were looking for.
Married at First Sight Season Reunion
In essence, this reunion show was a little bit different from prior season. Usually, the couples reunite several months after the filming, so time will tell what happens several months from now. From last nights reunion show, it looks as Jacqueline and Ryan are still together.
As we learnt on the final decision day, Jonathan and Molly didn’t stay together.
Since there have been previews for the last several days, many of us were guessing how things played out for the two couples that decided to stay married. Ultimately, the cat is out of the bag as Shawniece and Jephte are expecting their first child together.
