Recently, I was in New York attending a Masquerade Fundraiser for We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports. Since I’ve been working with this non-profit organization; they have increased their programs to reach at-risk youth.

Masquerade Fundraiser
So every year, We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports has a yearly event. And for the second year in a row; they decided to have it at the same location.
This event was hosted at the F & J Pine restaurant in the Bronx. Be sure to check out last year’s Fall Masquerade Fundraiser Thank You post to read more about this event.
Although there was a Yankees playoff game going on in the vicinity; everyone made it to the event on time.
Indeed, this was a successful event to celebrate the success of the organization as well as raise awareness for what they do. Luckily, I was able to have my close friend, Cheryl accompany me to this event.
Because I have several clients in the New York area; it was nice to put a name with a face. I had the opportunity to meet Grace Ratto from A-Way With Lice and her husband, Paul. What a treat!
In addition, I was able to meet so many fantastic people.
Though I had the opportunity to meet Mary when she was in the Boston area several years ago; I had the opportunity to spend more time with her and the other board members.
Also, I had the pleasure of meeting Monica Morales as well as other educators in the New York school system.
Finally, I had the opportunity to meet Henry Perez, who is the founder of this organization and his son.

In summary, I was lucky to have many friends, family members and clients donate items for the silent auction as well as door prizes.
At the same time, We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports wants to continue to build their sports program.
