Rainy Day Monday is a day like any other. Because of the rain outside, there is something calming and soothing for me. One of my favorite things to do in the rain is take a walk in a park or a beach. Rainy days and Monday reminds me of a song I heard growing up by The Carpenters – “Rainy Days and Mondays“.
Rain is always welcome. Since I love the sound of a pitter patter of water, I will be embracing the day. I love to hear the sound of tires and children playing in puddles.
Woke up this morning to the sound of the pitter-patter of rain and the soothing sound of wind. Moreover, there is nothing like the sound of rain on a hot humid Summer Day. The rain cools the temperature.
Due to nature gifting us with rain this Monday, it sounds beautiful. In addition – with rain, I tend to forget my worries and love the sound and sweet smell of rain. There is something really magical about rain. I remember being in Hawaii in my 20’s with and after a downpour I saw the most beautiful colorful rainbow from my balcony of the Hotel I was vacationing with my Sister Edie.
Rainy Day Monday
Since the weather isn’t being cooperative today, some of the things I will be doing on this Rainy Day Monday are:
- Cooking and Baking
- Cleaning my House
- Nap
- Wearing cozy and comfortable clothes
- Catch up on reading magazines and reading a book on my Kindle
- Snuggle with my Husband
After a good rain fall everything always looks brighter. I love the smell of the grass and flowers and the looking up in the sky I’m always in search of a rainbow.
