Fashionable Father’s Day is a day to celebrate for all the stylish Dads. The holiday is always on the third Sunday of June and is a day to honor your Dad, Father-in-law, Granddads, and Step Dads.
So, many people thank their Father on this holiday by planning a day to spend doing an activity, spending quality time together or having a family get together. Also, most children gift their Dad with Father’s Day cards. Neckties are another popular gift for this holiday. Usually for Fathers Day, I would buy my Dad a fun shirt for the holiday or something sports related. My Dad loves all sports and his love of the Red Sox had me hooked on Baseball from the time I was six years old. My love of baseball is attributed to my Dad. Now that my Dad lives in Florida I don’t get to see him on this holiday. Even though he isn’t living in the same state, I always phone my Dad on this day and take him out to lunch when he visits during the Summer months.
Some things will always be in style. Fashionable Father’s Day is a day that brings me back to my youth. My Family always dressed up in fun fashion attire and went out to lunch to celebrate the holiday. My Family always enjoyed this day to do, not only do something special as a family, but also to show appreciation of my Dad.
