Restaurants Changing Landscape 2018

Today, restaurants changing landscape on food and service is due to a number of changes in the suburbs. As the suburbs and communities change, many new restaurants are popping up with an urban quality vibe.

Restaurants Changing Landscape

Since I dine out often at various restaurants nearby and in other states, countries and the Caribbean Island; I have become well acquainted with various managers and owners. Of course, food and restaurants provide some great stories.

No doubt, dining out has been a popular form of going out for eons. In the same fashion, dining out is not only a place to eat, but also to socialize, entertain and host functions.

Whenever a restaurant is making a change in their kitchen staff or management; it is important they maintain the same level of service.

How are Restaurants Changing Landscape

In the same fashion, sometimes change is needed to progress. Often, a new manager is brought in to take over weaknesses that existed in the past. Indeed, there can be positive changes to a restaurant. For instance, a new manager or chef may have different knowledge or experience in a certain area.

In my opinion, consistency is the name of the game. Another way restaurants are changing is a movement towards local or organically grown food. Due to the popularity of Farmers Markets, this has had a huge impact on consumers, farmers and restaurants. Be sure to check out my Farmers Market Pasta Recipes post to get some ideas.

When my Husband and I dined not too long ago at a local restaurant, we saw a service charge added to the bill. So, when our server came over to pick up the bill; I asked them about this charge and was told that it was to maintain their kitchen staff. In my opinion, I would prefer the prices adjusted rather than added onto the bill.

Not only are restaurants pushing the envelope on sustainable food, but also in their decor.

Of course, the decisions you make in where to dine out is shaking up the restaurant industry.

As always, I welcome your comments on how restaurants changing landscape has weighed in your decision making process on where to dine at.
