Socks Sandals – I’m not a fan of this fashion trend. One of the biggest fashion faux pas is wearing socks with sandals. While many of us can remember growing up and seeing a Neighbor or Relative wearing socks with sandals; we laughed about this dorky style. Of course, the ultimate fashion faux pas. Since we are now seeing this look regularly, what do you think of this trend?
Socks
When wearing socks with sneakers, loafers, oxfords and boots, you look cool and stylish. This trend is a no-no in my book. Almost everyone likes mix and match colorful socks. Those who wear patterned colorful socks are considered independent, creative and successful. Many well known Men are wearing colorful socks. This is making a bold fashion statement. However, wearing socks with open toe shoes doesn’t look right in my book.
Sandals
Obviously, one of the biggest footwear choices is sandals for warmer weather. Sandals are footwear composed of a sole that is held onto the foot by straps. Usually, sandals are worn in warmer climates. Today, sandals are worn all year around. Wear sandals without hosiery for the best style.
Socks Sandals
In my opinion, this has been one of fashions biggest mistakes. Indeed, this looks silly. Because several celebrities have been rocking this trend; many think this is a cool style.
Men have a harder time than Women in pulling this trend off. Men’s Spring Fashion week featured styles with toeless socks. Sporty footwear brand Teva is capitalizing on this trend.
Top Fashion Faux Pas
Wearing socks with sandals is one of the worst fashion faux pas of all times. While there are many trendy socks available, wearing socks with closed toe shoes looks hipper.
