Cook your food, not your skin. So, the Friday before Memorial Day weekend is known as National Don’t Fry Day. Although many beaches may not be open due to the Coronavirus; many individuals will still be out in the sun.
Skin Cancer Awareness month is this month. Since skin cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the United States; therefore, it is never too soon to practice safe sun. Luckily, if found early; this type of cancer is preventable. So, if you’re wondering; “How”? I’m about to let you know everything
Don’t Fry-day is designated by the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention as the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. So, for many, Memorial day weekend is the kick-off for the Summer season.
So, today is National Don’t Fry Day. If you’re not familiar with this day, don’t fret as today’s post will bring you up to speed of the importance of this day. In the first place, the goal of this day is to raise awareness to the overexposure of sun.
