30 Minute Fitness Plan

30 Minute Fitness Plan

A 30 Minute Fitness Plan is a fitness goal to achieve at least three times a week.   I started a workout plan about a year ago in which I walk on my treadmill 30 minutes a day in the morning at a brisk pace and then do some floor exercises.

In addition to my home workout plan I also am a Member of Fitness Together and work out at least once a week with my Personal Trainer, Zack.  I read an article recently saying everyone should exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes.  I asked my Trainer his thoughts on this and he thought that was a good plan for everyone to try to aim for.

Setting the time to exercise is a good activity to do, not only for fitness purposes but also for health.   I have found since I’ve been exercising, I have more energy and don’t get winded as easily as I used to.  By adding weights and resistance to my workouts I’ve noticed a difference in being a little firmer and toned.  In addition to a 30 minute fitness plan, it is important to change your diet and eating habits.  I’ve found by adding more vegetables to my diet I get full quickly and the good thing is there isn’t a lot of fat so you’re able to eat all you want.  There are so many options with vegetables as I’ve talked about in my Heart Awareness Post.

Some things to do if you have a short amount of time in your day is walk.  Whether you work from home or outside your home, take a walk during lunch hour or after work.  With the warmer weather, it is easy to take walks on the beach, park, or lake area.

If you’re inside more often, consider purchasing a treadmill.  My Husband bought mine approximately a year ago and I absolutely love it.  I have an addiction to it and try to start my day with a walk.  Another option is to purchase an exercise tape or DVD.  I know a lot of friends of mine who have tapes and use them regularly.  If you have self motivation this is a good option.

The great thing about exercising from home is you can fit it in during breaks or work out at your own pace.  Consider purchasing some free weights, an exercise mat, resistance bands, and a stability ball.  All work well for at-home fitness exercises.

30 Minute Fitness Plan doesn’t require a lot of time out of your day.  By dedicating 30 minutes a day a few times a week I’m sure you will see the results in your health and fitness level.  What are some of your exercise and fitness goals?  Do you exercise?  Can you fit a 30 minute fitness plan into your schedule?
