Boston Bruins Clinch Playoff Spot 2018

So, the Boston Bruins clinched a playoff spot in their loss to the St. Louis Blues last night. Now, all you Bruins fans can sigh with relief as the team gets ready for the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs.

Because this team has a lot of players on the injured list; the team has been out there still winning games. Although they lost last night in overtime; they are four points away from the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference. With the Bruins overtime loss, they are only the third team in the NHL to clinch a playoff spot thus far.

Boston Bruins Injury Report

Since the Bruins have seven players on the injury list; they need to get these players healthy for the playoffs. With the trades that were made at the deadline, this team has held up well, even with all of their injuries. Without some of the Bruins key players available, these injured players now have the time to rest before the playoffs. Moreover, with the season coming to a close in a few weeks; will we see some of these players back before the playoffs? Let’s hope none of these injuries are too serious to keep them out of the playoffs. Hopefully, we will see all of our marquee players back in the lineup next month.

Playoff Excitement

Not only were the Patriots in the Super Bowl Championship game; but we also have the Celtics, and Bruins in the playoffs next month.

In summary, the Bruins had their 22nd, 100 point season in team history. No doubt, this team has been exciting to watch this year. While watching Felger and Mazzaroti on 98.5 The Sports Hub recently; they were both excited about this team’s chances as well as the future of the organization.
