Boston Bruins v St Louis Blues will match up in the Stanley Cup Finals. So, the last time these two teams faced each other was in 1969 and 1970 in the finals. Indeed, a lot has changed since than.

When these two teams matched up 49 years ago, the Bruins won with Bobby Orr scoring the winning goal. Deja vu – What will happen in this series? No one expected these two teams to be in the finals. But, now here we are. So, let’s take a closer look at these two teams.
In the regular season, the Blues finished third. In round one of the playoffs, they defeated the Winnipeg Jets. Hence, in the second round, the Blues matched up with the Dallas Stars and that series went a full seven games. Finally, in the match-up against the San Jose Sharks, the Blues defeated the Sharks in six games.
In the regular season, the Bruins finished second right behind the Tampa Bay Lightning. Although many expected the Bruins to be eliminated in the playoffs; they have been a surprise. In the first round, they matched up with the Toronto Maple Leafs. In the second round, they matched up with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Since sweeping the Hurricanes; the Bruins have had time to prepare for the Stanley Cup Finals. In essence, the Bruins are favorites to hoist the Stanley Cup trophy this year.

- So, Game 1 will open in Boston on Monday, May 27th at 8:00 p.m. Luckily, I will be at this game, so I’m stoked.
- Game 2 – the Blues v Bruins will be in Boston on Wednesday, May 29th at 8:00 p.m.
- Game 3 – the Bruins v Blues will be in St. Louis on Saturday, June 1st at 8:00 p.m.
- On Monday, June 3rd, the Bruins v Blues is in St. Louis on Monday, June 3rd at 8:00 p.m.
- Game 5, if needed will be back in Boston on June 6th at 8:00 p.m.
- For Game 6, it will be in St. Louis on June 9th at 8:00 p.m.
- Finally, if needed Game 7 will be in Boston on June 12th at 8:00 p.m.
