Boston Celtics Round 2 NBA Playoffs

The Boston Celtics round 2 NBA playoffs began yesterday in Boston. To point out, both Boston and Washington struggled in the opening games of round 1. In the first place, the Celtics came back from an 0-2 deficit against the Chicago Bulls to win the next four straight.

Boston Celtics Round 2

So, round 2 kicked off against the Washington Wizards yesterday. Because Marcus Smart broke Wizards player, Bradley Beal’s nose with an elbow at the beginning of the year, this series is surely going to be exciting. In addition, there has been prior incidents between the players from these two teams.

Moreover, the rivalry between the two teams is sure to be a factor in this series.

Boston Celtics Round 2 Game 1

Although the game started with the Celtics down 16 – 0, they were able to pick up steam and win the game with the final score being 123 – 111.

After Isaiah Thomas’s death of his sister, many wondered how he would fare in the playoffs. By the same token, Thomas’s play on the court has been riveting.

Of course, Isaiah Thomas was a factor in the game scoring 33 points. Also, Al Horford scored 21 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds. Indeed, both of these players were an important part of the win in game 1.

Boston Celtics v Washington Wizards

All things considered, one of the key matchups is Avery Bradley against Bradley Beal. Many consider Beal to be having the best season in his career. Also, he has a size advantage against Bradley.

For the most part, the Celtics will need Bradley to have a great series. Although many Sports Analysts are picking the Washington Wizards to win in 6 or 7 games, some have the Boston Celtics. Indeed, anything is possible in the playoffs as we saw from Game 1 in Round 2 between the two teams.

To sum up, the Celtics came back in-game one of an early deficit. Can they continue to play at this level throughout the series? In conclusion, I’m hoping the Celtics continue to play well and move on to Round 3.

As always, I look forward to you sharing your thoughts on the Boston Celtics Round 2.

Go Celtics!
