Earths Global warming trend is setting a record for the third straight year. Earths climate is forever changing. Whereas in the last century earths climate has been influenced by humanity.
Earths Global Warming Trend
When the planet receives more or less sunshine, the atmosphere changes. Are human greenhouse gases causing the Earths warming? Because there is more human activity in the United States from burning fuels for electricity, heat and transportation, Earth has become warmer.
Earths Greenhouse Effect
In the first place, earths temperature begins with the sun. Furthermore, 30% of sunlight is a reflection of clouds and ice. Of the 70% remaining, this comes from land and ocean. Also, as the air and ocean warms, it radiates heat energy. Additionally, the energy travels into the atmosphere where it is consumed by water vapor and greenhouse gases.
When the energy beams back to Earth, it lowers the atmosphere and surface. Hence, it enhances the heat directly from the sunlight. Of course, this ingestion and radiation of heat by the atmosphere is beneficial to life on Earth. If there wasn’t a greenhouse effect, the Earth’s surface would be very cold.
Earths Climate Change
The Earths Global Warming trend is due to many different factors.
- Sea levels continue to rise
- Earths Global warming has been changing. In the last 35 years, Earth has had some of the warmest temperatures.
- Ocean temperatures show an increase in heat.
- Also, a decline in Arctic sea ice.
- In addition, Glacial retreats all over the world are causing less snowfall and higher temperatures.
- High temperatures – the United States has seen an increase in warmer temperatures.
- Increase in rainfall.
- Snow is melting quicker.
Additionally, with humans emitting more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, these are flowing into the ocean.
Earths Warming
With El Nino gone, Meteorologists were expecting colder temperatures for 2017. But the global warming may impact the temperature for many years to come.
As the Earth warms, we can continue to see issues arise from torrential rainstorms.
Conclusion
To sum up, when thinking about Earths global warming trend, it is not surprising. With today being the last day in February, North of Boston has received only two big snowstorms. For the second straight year, my neck of the woods has less snowstorms. Moreover, when we receive snow, it usually disappears within days. Temperatures in the last week have been fluctuating between 40’s and 70’s.
As each year seems to get warmer, we’re seeing big changes.
In conclusion, will Earths global warming trend continue? What are your thoughts on global warming?
