As most people who know me are aware of my shoe passion, this Fall, Winter 2016-2017 best shoes are very exciting. Since many of us are still wearing sandals, we haven’t thought much about buying new shoes. In any event, one of my biggest passions is shoe shopping. I start checking out shoe trends after Fall Fashion Week. This year was no exception.
Fall Winter 2016-2017 Shoe Trends
Due to velvet being a big trend in fashion, there were a lot of choices in footwear. Velvet boots are one of the chicest styles this season. Visit my prior post on Velvet. Boots are a big part of footwear this season. Victorian and combat styles in boots are a big hit this season. Additionally, ballerina inspired shoes, platforms and novelty pumps are styles to buy this season.

Of course, footwear is deserving of attention this season. Since I started my shoe shopping early this year, I had a good idea of the styles I was looking to buy. The first store I shopped at was Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston. There were a lot of fun styles to choose from. The Stuart Weitzman shoe below is available in three colors and is a practical, yet stylish shoe to wear all season long.
Another great shoe is the style below by Roger Vivier. Since this style can take you from day to-night, I recommend buying this classic style in several colors.
Chanel’s spin on their signature style featured below are great styles for the Fall/Winter season.

Another style that I fell in love with is the pump by Marni below. The minute I saw this shoe, I knew it was the perfect addition to my shoe collection.
