International Bath Day is today, June 14th. So, if you have been looking for a reason to soak in your tub; today is the perfect opportunity to unwind.

In the first place, the Greek Mathematician, Scientist, and Scholar, Archimedes discovered that an object’s volume could be successfully measured if it was submerged in water. While he was in the tub, he jumped out of the bathtub to share his excitement over his discovery. He ran into the streets yelling “Eureka, Eureka”.
In the 19th century in England, a bath consisted of placing a large metal container in front of the fireplace without any plumbing.
Also, in other parts of the world people used to take a dip in the river to clean themselves.
Indeed, times have changed!
At the same time, this day is used to enjoy some time to unwind as well as teach children about how things work.
Moreover, today, most of us enjoy relaxing in a tub with a nice flow of water, bath salt, and bubbles.
