Katie Thurston's Final Rose - The Bachelorette, August 2021

Katie Thurston’s Final Rose – The Bachelorette, August 2021

So, the night Bachelor Nation has been waiting for – Katie Thurston’s final rose was last night? When last week’s episode ended, one of the front runners decided to leave the show.

Katie Thurston’s Final Rose

Though Reality Steve let the cat out of the bag before the show aired; he had one of the Final 4 completely wrong. Before the hometown dates, Andrew Spencer was eliminated. Hence, Michael Alio decided to leave the show to be with his son.

When Gregg leaves, Katie wants to go home. But, we all know that doesn’t happen. Enter – Tayshia and Kaitlyn who let Blake and Justin know that Gregg left. With Gregg leaving, both Blake and Justin aren’t sure what is going to happen.

So if you follow the show; many of us were treated to a glimpse of Blake Moynes from Clare Crawley’s short season and Tayshia Adams season.

And, Justin Glaze who was Katie’s first kiss is one of the remaining guys.

Now, let’s get to her last dates.

Katie’s first date is with Blake. She shares with Blake how she felt about Michael and Gregg leaving. Also, she told Blake she was in a state of shock after both guys left, but she wanted to finish the process. Blake seemed a little caught off guard, or at least that’s what was captured on camera.

Next, they end their date with dinner and Blake told Katie he loves her. Though Katie wasn’t planning to profess her love until there was one man left; she broke her promise and told Blake she loves him too.

Next, they head to the fantasy suite.

Katie shares her last date with Kaitlyn and she tells her Blake is it for her.

However, Justin is still there. So, Katie tells Justin how she feels and says goodbye.

Blake’s Doubts

Next, Blake meets Katie’s mom and her aunt. Of course, there are questions raised and it seems Blake is processing everything they said to him.

So, on their final date, they each wrote their thoughts in a book and burnt them in a ceremony.

At the same time, the closer it comes to the final rose; Blake starts to have doubts. When he meets with Tayshia to choose a ring; he seems to be questioning if he should propose. Tayshia tells him he if isn’t ready; he needs to let Katie go.

Though Blake seemed nervous when he arrived; he “popped the question” and they galloped off into the sunset.

After the Final Rose

First, Justin talks about his feelings for Katie and he wondered if he was there by default. Katie assured Justin they had a real connection but she didn’t think it was fair to continue on their final date knowing how she felt about Blake.

Surprisingly, Gregg is there to speak to Katie about why he left. Moreover, Katie tells him if he loved her; how could he say the things he did? Katie asks him about his acting goals; and tells him how she felt about the way he handled himself. Also, she told him she was there as the Bachelorette and explained to him he was one of three guys left.

Next, Blake joins Katie on stage. Also, it comes across they have grown a lot as a couple since the final rose.

Though this season is over, Bachelor Nation won’t have to wait too long as Bachelor in Paradise begins next week. Due to COVID-19, the show didn’t air in 2020.
