A few weeks ago, my Husband and I participated in the Lynnway Mart Outdoor Flea Market. Since my Husband and I live on a cul-de-sac, we decided it would be better to participate in a larger event than having strangers come by our home.
In the first place, a flea market is full of hidden gems at affordable prices.
Lynnway Mart Outdoor Flea Market
At the end of my business in the Women’s Wholesale Apparel industry, I had a few Vendors who didn’t pay me. Due to still having a handful of items, I decided to give the flea market a shot in unloading these goods.
In addition, both my Husband and I had a good amount of new and used items we never used. So, we decided let’s try a flea market. In the same fashion, we had a wide variety of items. We had everything from:
- Brand new clothing samples with tags.
- VCR movies
- Books
- Technical gadgets
- Computer games
- Various kitchen goods in original boxes.
- Jewelry
- Nail polish
Unfortunately, we participated in the flea market on a raw day in May, however, we still sold a good amount of items. Not only did my Husband and I have sales as early as 6:15 a.m., we also had a steady stream of shoppers throughout the day.
Furthermore, the Lynnway outdoor flea market operates year around, weather permitting. We plan to participate in this outdoor flea market again at a later date.
Flea Market Finds
When visiting a flea market, you can find almost anything you can think of. Of course, you will find items you never thought of also.
By the same token, you can usually find vintage jewelry, antiques, art and furniture. Also, you can find old and new items in clothing, shoes, books, music, household appliances, toys, make-up, fragrances and tools.
Plan your Flea Market Visit
With the nicer weather here, now is the perfect time to head to a flea market. Not to mention, the summer season is the time to find flea markets everywhere.
