First and foremost, clean beauty is products that are developed without any toxic ingredients.

Not only is this day for cosmetic brands; but also to use for your own personal usage:

Non-toxic ingredients – Ingredients that are safe to use
Transparent ingredients – This should include a list of all ingredients used in a product and label.

Since both of these are essential, how many labels mislead shoppers in their packaging? For instance, the word, fragrance isn’t considered an ingredient; but often companies use this as an ingredient. Hence, many cosmetic brands are using the word “Eco” or “Natural” often.
