Are you ready to pucker up today in honor of National Kissing Day? Indeed, who doesn’t like a day to smooch all day. Not only is it a day for couples, but also to kiss your kids, relatives and friends. Or, perhaps you want to kiss your pet. So, get ready to have some fun celebrating the art of the kiss.
National Kissing Day – June 22nd
Since 2006, this day was started to celebrate kissing in our society. In the first place, many individuals from other countries greet a person with a kiss on both cheeks. As a child, everyone is always fussing over you and giving you kisses. And, as you get older, kissing plays a role in establishing a relationship.
No one knows how this non-holiday started. But regardless, it is a fun day to celebrate.
Celebrate National Kissing Day
Consequently, there are events happening all over the world to celebrate the kiss. In fact, start the day with a kiss. If you’re single, try to find an event. Or, see if you cannot find something happening in your area. Or, organize an event. For example, many countries have contests on this day. If you’re lucky enough to find an event, you may set a record for the most kisses.
