National Plus Size Appreciation Day is Today – October 6th

National Plus Size Appreciation Day is today! In 2016, this day was started by Women Rock INC. And, in 2017, the National  Day Calendar added this as a National Day to their calendar.

National Plus Size Appreciation Day

Of course, beauty comes in all sizes and shapes. So, this day isn’t just for women, but for children and men too.

When you think of plus size, it doesn’t just mean people who are larger. It refers to full-body, big and tall, or anyone who is curvier. Moreover, when it comes to our body image; we all have our insecurities. No matter how old you are; we all want to look our best.

Whether you’re into fashion or not, there is something to be said about looking our best.

How to Celebrate National Plus Size Appreciation Day

So, if you have a curvier body or are overweight, don’t fret. At the same time, make sure you wear something that you feel comfortable and confident in. For tips on clothes for your body type; be sure to check out my Are you Looking for the Best Clothes to Flatter Your Body Type post.

Whether you have a fuller body shape or not; today is a day to compliment someone you know and help build their confidence. When it comes to our body, we may not be the size or shape we want; but it is important to show off our features.

Therefore, it is important to tell everyone you know “Wear their favorite outfit”.

Build momentum for this day and share the hashtag #nationalplussizeappreciationday on social media.

Whether your weight has been up or down; turn up the volume and enjoy this video.

Meanwhile, if you are skinny, overweight, or have a curvy body type; appreciate what you have.

Finally, just because you may be bigger, doesn’t mean you are less beautiful.

Of course, everyone always wants to change something about themselves. But, the truth is we all have our imperfections.

With the Fall season upon us, change is in the air – crisp air, colorful leaves, Halloween, and pumpkins.

Whether you are looking for a few new outfits or want a few pieces to spruce up your wardrobe; I have some suggestions for you to wear for different occasions.
