National Wear Red Day is an important day to raise awareness of heart disease for Women. In fact, cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death for Women.

National Wear Red Day

Did you know that one in three Women die from heart related conditions? When the American Heart Association launched this back in 2004; it was first started to raise money to fight this disease.

Since 2004, this is not only about wearing the color red; but also to improve your life and those of other Women nationwide.

National Wear Red Day – Health Signs

On the whole, anyone who has any signs such as shortness of breath or any type of pain in your chest should immediately go to the hospital. Hence, if you have any of these symptoms such as:

  • Blurred vision
  • Full feeling in your chest that last more than a few minutes
  • Lightheaded
  • Cold-sweat

Indeed, some of the above signs could mean a number of things; however it is imperative to see a doctor or go to the hospital.
