Super Bowl Game – Patriots v Rams
When I was thinking about the first Super Bowl party I threw, ironically it was the New England Patriots playing the St. Louis Rams. Although the St. Louis Rams are now the Los Angeles Rams, this game has some significance.
So, back in 2001, the Belichick and Brady era began. And, back in 2001 was their first Super Bowl against the Rams. As you know the Patriots defeated the Rams by a score of 20 – 17.
In 2016, the Rams moved from St. Louis to Los Angeles; hence the name change. Ironically, this is 18 years later – different coaches on the Rams, yet Belichick and Brady are still here.
To read more about the Patriots’ last two appearances, check out my Patriots Historic Super Bowl Comeback post and New England Patriots Super Bowl LII Loss post.
Since this is the Patriot’s third straight Super Bowl appearance; the third time is known to be the charm. Will the Patriots win?
As always, I welcome your comments.
