As I was heading into Boston today for an appointment, I was aware of the Patriots Super Bowl Parade. Because of the crowds the city was expecting, streets were going to be closed.
I left my house over two hours before my appointment. Of course, I needed the extra time. It took me over two hours to get to my destination. Boston traffic was a gridlock.
Patriots Super Bowl Win
Of course, everyone is still talking about the Patriots win. Atlanta was up 25 points and I thought the game was over. Furthermore, I went upstairs to start doing other things. When I listened to a Sports program yesterday, one of the Announcers was doing laundry in the third quarter. Nevertheless, the Patriots defense and offense played their best to come back from the deficit.
In the first place, Brady calmly led his team point by point back into the game. Atlanta thought they had the game in the bag. In contrast the defense was able to stop Atlanta from putting up any more points. Brady was at his best. When there is pressure, the team tends to play better. The Patriots players never gave up. Overall, that was the difference in the game.
Patriots Super Bowl Parade
Since everyone is still fired up about the Patriots Super Bowl comeback, fan rallied today to celebrate. In the same fashion, the Boston Ducks led the players through the city of Boston.
Thousands of people were in the city despite the snow and rainy weather. Despite the weather, the Patriot players were having a blast. Many of the players were throwing beers into the crowd. Seeing everyone in New England in Patriots clothing and accessories as I made my way through the city made me proud to live in the Boston area.
Tom Brady told the crowd they were going to bring this sucker home. Indeed they did. With this in mind, Tom Brady hoisted the silver championship trophy to the crowd at the Parade’s finish at City Hall in Boston.
Traffic leaving Boston wasn’t any easier than when I arrived.
In conclusion, New England fans should be proud of the Patriots. Not only did they win a game that looked nearly impossible to come back from, but the team continues to play at a high level.
