Super Bowl Houston LI Atlanta v Patriots

Super Bowl Houston LI Atlanta v Patriots

As Super Bowl LI approaches, fans are looking forward to this upcoming game. In the first place, this game will have a lot of offense.

Atlanta Falcons

Since January 31, 1999, the Atlanta Falcons haven’t appeared in a Super Bowl. Given that it was Quarterback, John Elway’s final game, the Denver Broncos beat the Falcons by a score of 34 – 19.

This years Atlanta Falcons team has the eighth highest scoring offense in the history of the sport. Offense has been the key to both wins in the post season against Seattle and Green Bay. While no on has been able to shut down Atlanta’s offense, will the Patriots defense neutralize their offense?

New England Patriots

Of course, this season started out with Brady not being able to play the first four games due to the deflate gate suspension. With this in mind, Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft would like nothing more than to receive their fifth Super Bowl championship by Roger Goodell.

Additionally, this years Patriot team was able to maintain their focus all season long. Furthermore, the Patriots have cemented their place in New England to achieve excellence regularly.

Super Bowl

Super Bowl 51 is set for this Sunday, February 5, 2017 from NRG Stadium in Houston. Will Tom Brady be the first quarterback to win 5 Super Bowls?  Will Matt Ryan help the Falcons to win their first Super Bowl in Franchise history?

Houston is excited to host this. If you remember last years National Anthem by Lady Gaga, this year she will be singing at half time. Lady Gaga is looking to do something different for this years half time show. For one thing, we can expect to see a fun half time show.

Predictions

Although Atlanta’s offense is good, I predict Bill Belichick and Matt Patricia will shut down their offense. Hence, the 2001 Super Bowl game against the Rams, the Patriots were able to overcome their offense. Will the Patriots defense stabilize Atlanta’s offense?

Additionally, many think the 2016 year for the Patriots is a revenge tour against Goodell. Because of all the negativity with deflate gate, the Patriots are looking forward to hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

To sum up, I don’t expect either team to win by a huge margin. The last Super Bowl game in Houston was won by a field goal. Hence, the Patriots won that game against the Panthers.

Although the Falcons have an advantage in offense, the Patriots were number 3 in the NFL in scoring. Will this game be about defensive stops?

In conclusion, this should be a close game. Who will win Super Bowl 51?

  1. It’s time for payback, but it’s not against Atlanta. It’s against Goodell for this stupid deflategate. Lookout Pats are coming.
