Tom Brady #12 Patriots journey has come to an end. Although many fans in New England may be surprised by this decision; they shouldn’t be.

Tom Brady – New England Patriots 2019-2020 Season

In my opinion, no one should be surprised. After the loss to the Tennessee Titans; I figured that was his swan song in New England. To read more about his last game in New England; be sure to check out my Patriots Season Ending Loss post.

Although the Patriots were undefeated in the first half of last year; Brady never seemed to click with the offense. Clearly, his leaving the team isn’t a surprise.

In fact, earlier in the season, Bill Belichick spoke about Brady being limited in team practices last season.

After playing for two decades for the Patriots; Brady announced on Tuesday morning that his journey with the Patriots has come to an end on his Twitter account.

Moreover, Brady has appeared in 9 Super Bowls and won 6. In addition, the Patriots made the playoffs 17 out of 18 seasons when he was the starter. In the year the team didn’t make the playoffs; Brady sat out with a knee injury in 2008. With Brady’s leadership, they have won the AFC 17 times as well.

Furthermore, Brady won 3 MVP’s in:

• 2007
• 2010
• 2017

Also, Brady was in 14 Pro Bowls and, won 4 MVPs in the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, there seemed to be a lot of discord between Belichick and Brady. Whether that was true or not; the media reported their troubles, especially the last 2 years.

Where will Brady Play in 2020

So, even though Brady is leaving the Patriots; I think last year’s offense wasn’t good. This year will be an opportunity for the offense to begin anew. Of course, Brady’s injuries and missed practices as well as the amount of money he was looking for; obviously were deal breakers for the Patriots.

With Brady being behind Drew Brees in both passing touchdowns and yards; will he be able to pass him on a new team? Indeed, learning a new team will be tough.

In conclusion, the two teams mentioned in multiple sports reports have Brady signing either with the Los Angeles Chargers or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Or, will there be another team?

How will Brady do playing for a new team? How will the Patriots do in 2020?
