Aruba One Happy Island Vacation

Aruba One Happy Island Vacation

So, what makes Aruba one happy island is the white sand, 80’s degree days – every day and some of the friendliest people. With a direct flight from Boston, Aruba is only a little over four hours away. So, are you ready to learn why Aruba is “One Happy Island”.

One Happy Island

From the minute you exit the terminal, warm balmy weather hits you. First and foremost, the weather is the same year around. Indeed, hurricanes have wrecked havoc on many of the Caribbean Islands; but Aruba is located South of the hurricane belt. Since I have been to Aruba approximately 15 times; I have never experienced any rain for extended periods of time. In the first place, their average rain lasts a few minutes and the sun comes back up. Although this can happen a few times in a day, it is never heavy rain to wreak havoc on your vacation.

In addition to the great weather, Aruba is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean.

No matter how many times I’ve been to Aruba, I never tire of the beautiful weather. Although I’m not a fan of hot weather, Aruba is the one place I love being outside all day. In the first place, the comfortable soothing trade winds help make the heat bearable. Not only is the trade winds comfortable for sunbathing, but also for sailing and windsurfing.

Ultimately, Aruba has a lot of activities to do throughout the day and night. In the same fashion, I enjoy waking up early, having breakfast and heading to my Palapa for a day of sunbathing, reading and frolicking in the beautiful ocean.

Because I’m a foodie, I enjoy many of the restaurants. Of course, I have my favorite restaurants I go to each time I’m on the island. Be sure to visit my Aruba Best Restaurant Choices post. However, I’m also on the lookout for new places to venture out to. And our nights are spent taking walks on the beach, listening to music and heading to the casino.

Even though I just returned from Aruba, I’m already planning my next trip back.

As always, I welcome your comments.
