Join me on my quest for the best Suburban Boston pizza spots. In the first place, there is something about a tasty sauce and gooey cheese. And, we cannot forget all the interesting toppings that make Pizza more enticing.
With so many fantastic flavors available, where do we start?
Best Boston Pizza Spots
In my opinion, one of my favorite pizza places is Haymarket Pizza. You order your slice over the counter and pay cash. By the same token, they have become more inventive in some of their combinations over the years. However, I’m a fan of their basic cheese pizza. For me, this is one of the best slices in the city.
Another favorite of mine is Pizzeria Regina. Hence, also known as Regina Pizzeria and Polcari’s. Although the first location started in Boston in 1926, they have expanded throughout New England. Moreover, my favorite pizza is called the Napoletana Pizza. This has anchovy’s, capers, fresh garlic and spicy oil and cooked to perfection.
Best Suburban Boston Pizza Spots
Another favorite of mine that is located in the North End in Boston and Assembly Square in Somerville is Ernesto’s Pizza. They have enormous slices of pizza that are authentic with chewy crust that are available in several combinations. Ultimately, their Caprese with the fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and basil is my personal favorite.
In addition, I enjoy two pizza places close to my home. First and foremost is Bambolina. Although this opened a few years ago, it has become a favorite for many. It is cooked in a wood oven and takes approximately 2-3 minutes to bake. In my opinion, the Rosso is the best pizza they make. Meanwhile, this pizza has no cheese and is made with crushed tomato, fresh garlic and oregano.
Meanwhile, you may feel like you’re stepping back in time when you step into Monte’s in Lynn, Massachusetts. Indeed, there sesame crust and old school solid red sauce make the cheese pizza a great choice.
Conclusion
Of course, everyone has their favorite pizza place. After participating in a pizza making class over a year ago, I’m hoping my pizza recipe makes the cut on someone’s best pizza list in the future.
