Happy Cheese Pizza Day! So, today is a day to celebrate this fun non-holiday. No doubt, pizza lovers across the country will be indulging in ordering a classic gooey cheese pizza today.

Tomatoes weren’t added to pizza until the 1700’s. However, it didn’t become popular until the early 1900’s. Now, you can find pizza with tomato sauce and without. Are you ready to indulge in your favorite pizza dish? In the first place, there are many different versions of cheese.
For example, you can order a Neapolitan which is a variation made with tomatoes and mozzarella. Or, you can order a classic cheese with tomato sauce. Since there are many variations, different places may have up to four different types of cheeses on their pizza. And, many places offer extra cheese pizza’s.
Celebrate Cheese Pizza Day
Are you looking for ways to celebrate this fun, yet delicious non-holiday? So, the following are a few of my suggestions for ways to enjoy this day. In the first place, if you’re the type of person who likes to cook; why not make your own pizza? You can easily do this by either buying dough or making your own.

Whether you buy prepared sauce or make your own, you can get creative by adding spices and herbs. Also, you can use a white sauce. In addition, you can use various types of cheese such as:
- Blue cheese
- Brie
- Burrata
- Goat cheese
- Mozzarella
- Parmesan
Another way to celebrate this day is to have pizza for all your meals. At the same time, start your day and have a breakfast pizza and add some bacon and eggs to it. For lunch and dinner, have a slice of your favorite cheese pizza. And for dessert, you can have a chocolate pizza with fruit and add a whipped cream cheese. Mm – yummy!
