So, today is Global Good Deeds Day. In the first place, doing something nice comes in many different forms. Therefore, today is a day of tradition of performing good deeds.
Global Good Deeds Day
First and foremost, all over the world; companies and people will come together to improve the lives of others. Indeed, thousands of individuals across the nation will be volunteering today to help improve the world we live in. In the same fashion, Good Deeds day started in 2007 by businesswoman and philanthropist, Shari Arison. Furthermore, it was organized by Ruach Tova who is part of the Ted Arison Family Foundation.
The whole philosophy for this day was the thought process that if everyone could do something good, speak good, talk good, then goodness will grow. Ultimately, today is a global celebration that will unite over 100 countries in the hope of making the world a better place.

Ways to Celebrate Global Good Deeds Day
Let’s kick off the day by doing a good deed today. If you cannot afford to make a financial donation, there are other ways to help. For instance, you can donate your time or consider helping serve food at a shelter. The following are a list of ideas you can do to help make a difference in someone else’s life.
- Volunteer – Whether you volunteer your time at a hospital, food bank or local charity; you’re having an immediate impact on someone else’s life.
- Recycle – For ways to recycle, visit my America Recycles Day post.
- Make your home more energy effective. By doing this, you’re helping the environment.
- Reduce waste
- Be engaging to others around you.
- Finally, be nice. Of course, a lot of things you do can have a positive impact on someone else’s life.
- When you’re sad or angry, others are impacted by our actions and words. Let your goodness shine through.
- Also, help Women. As a Woman, a lot is happening in the world. Visit my International Women’s Day #PressforProgress post and get involved in helping Women everywhere.
In summary, even something simple you do can help someone else.
