Happy Snow Day! I woke up Monday to begin my day. Logging onto my Computer I received an email that the Salon I go to regularly will be closed today due to inclement weather.
Since I had a late morning appointment, I was confused upon seeing this email since the weather seemed fine. Upon further research on the weather for my area, I learnt that 5 – 8 inches of snow was expected. Snow started around 9:00 this morning and it has been snowing ever since.

My husband had the day off from work today. We ended up relaxing and snuggling until late morning. A snow day is a good day to get caught up on home projects. A snow day is a good day to:
- Stay indoors
- Relax
- Snuggle
- Cook
- Home projects
- Art projects
- Have a Hot Cocoa by the fireplace.
- Watch a movie
- Read
Since I’ve been indoors all day I’ve been able to relax and catch up on some projects. Later this afternoon I spent some time working on a Vogue jigsaw puzzle. Working on this puzzle has kept me entertained and challenged. It is 1000 pieces and is a source of entertainment for me. My Husband has enjoyed helping me with this project. As the afternoon progressed and the snow slowed down, my Husband headed outdoors. He has been out there for several hours with his snowblower and shovel.
As it gets closer to dinner time I’m planning to make a nice hearty dinner for my husband and I. It is a good night to cook and snuggle indoors. I’ll be following up my cooking with hot cocoa and toasted marshmallows and watching The Bachelor. Visit my prior post on The Bachelor. I haven’t missed an episode this season and looking forward to tonight’s episode to see what happens with Olivia. I usually try and convince my husband to join me in watching this with me. He isn’t a fan of the show however he usually makes me laugh with his commentary.
