National Scarf Day is today! In September 2018, this day was founded by Echo. However, it all started back in 1923 when Edgar and Theresa were at City Hall in New York to get their marriage license. At the same time, they decided to also incorporate their business, Echo Scarves.

In earlier times, Egyptians began wearing scarves as a head wrap. Also, scarves have been around since ancient times for cleanliness, religious reasons i.e., a head wrap and to provide warmth.
In the 17th century, many highly ranked Croatian Soldiers wore silk scarves, and lower ranked soldiers wore cotton ones.
Hence, the famous music composer, Ludwig Van Beethoven wore silk scarves to get the attention of his lover.
Throughout the years, scarves have evolved.
