Social media is something I’m learning every day. There are so many Online social networks connecting people with shared interests. Communicating with various people using various networks is becoming important. I’ve always found myself savvy.
I’m trying to learn about social media platforms daily. In any event, I’m definitely out of my comfort zone.
I initially started out using only Facebook and Linked In. Eventually, I removed myself from Facebook as I found I only wanted it for business purposes. I found Facebook confusing. If I didn’t link a personal profile to a business profile it seemed like I wasn’t able to use the service. Linked In I’ve found much more effective. I’ve enjoyed being part of certain groups that hold my interest. Sharing with others with similar passions and aspirations has been very insightful.

Linked In has been a great tool in connecting and networking with other people. I’ve found LinkedIn very professional in usage. I’ve enjoyed connecting with professionals with similar interests.
Twitter is new to me. I recently joined and am working hard to build a following. Additionally, I share my blog posts and fashion articles regularly.
I’m also especially active on Google and have also followed the same pattern as Twitter.
One of my prior Employees was kind enough to assist me with Instagram. I’m finding Instagram a little confusing. Although I’m spending time daily trying to follow topics of interest to me and share photographs but still don’t have the hang of it.
The value of an online social network lies in the people. I’m trying to build my network. Some of the questions I have are:
- How to receive more comments on my blog posts?
- How to build followers on Twitter?
- Building followers on Google?
- How to build followers on Instagram?
- How to add photo’s regularly to Instagram? Accordingly, how many times a day should you be posting photos? Should you increase people you follow to build your platform?
Anyone who has something to say to me on this topic would be appreciative. I’m looking to continue my education in this genre. With this in mind, what platforms do you like? How to increase followers? I hope to hear from anyone on anything to try.
