Support Mota Strong Cancer Walk

Support Mota Strong Cancer walk on May 21, 2017! Because my Sister-in-law was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last year, a group has been formed to make a difference in the lives of those suffering from cancer.

Cancer

Cancer begins when a gene does damage to a part of your body. While no one knows how cancer starts, it is important to keep a healthy lifestyle, go for regular checkups and not expose ourselves to harmful chemicals. Also, if a family member is carrying a gene, many think it could be hereditary to another family member.

When a loved one or someone you know is diagnosed with cancer, it is important to do what we can. Of course, cancer can strike anyone of any age or race.

Not all cancers are killers. When you receive a cancer diagnosis, it is important to be pro-active in your treatment. By staying on top of your treatment, you have a better chance of beating this disease.

Support Mota Strong Cancer Walk

So, on May 21st, my Niece, Jessica has organized a team for the TeamWalk with Lowell General Hospital. In the first place, Jessica is pursuing a Nursing degree and works at Lowell General Hospital. Throughout Jessica’s professional career, she has been involved in the care of many patients.

When Jessica’s Mother was diagnosed with cancer, Jessica organized a team. Furthermore, it is her hope to help raise money to help pay for medications, wigs, prostheses and support groups for all types of cancer. Not only does Jessica want to make a difference in the fight against cancer, but she also hopes to help her Mother through her cancer journey.

Equally important is each and every dollar raised from the walk will go towards helping family and friends in the community with their cancer battle. In addition, funds raised will go towards providing assistance and support in their fight against cancer.

Maria’s Brave Journey

My Sister-in-law, Maria has been dealing with her cancer diagnosis since last Summer. At the same time, her diagnosis caught her by surprise. Although Maria has been through surgery and intense months of chemotherapy, she has remained positive. Moreover, Maria has shown courage and determination in her battle against cancer.

Donate and Support

In view of Maria’s diagnosis, we are uniting to help her beat this disease. To sum up, support Mota strong cancer walk.

If you cannot walk in the race, please make a donation in support of the Mota Family.
